Chelmsford Showcase For Business – Anglia Ruskin University – 18th & 19th November

There will be a series of business seminars and opportunities for business networking with companies all over Essex. Here are the full details from the Chelmsford Borough Council website:
Designed to show the extent of activity, support and the extensive range of commercial opportunities in Chelmsford, the Chelmsford Showcase will be the ‘must visit’ event of the year.
Lining up with Global Entrepreneurship Week (16 November 2009) it will prove a beneficial source of information, help and guidance to a range of businesses from start-up to multi-national and some great networking opportunities.
The Chelmsford Showcase will be staged at the Anglia Ruskin University, Bishops Hall Lane, Chelmsford, CM1 1SQ with opportunities to attend a series of informative seminars and visit stand-holders to gain help and advice from a range of exhibitors representing the private and public sectors.
One of the biggest and most ambitious events ever to be held in Chelmsford, the Chelmsford Showcase will be held over two days on Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th November 2009 coinciding with National Enterprise Week. Hosted by Chelmsford Borough Council’s Inward Investment, Economy & Growth team in partnership with the Chelmsford Business Forum and Maldon District Council, the event will be held at Anglia Ruskin University, Bishops Hall Lane, Rivermead, Chelmsford. Thanks also go to our main sponsors, NatWest and to the Chelmsford Partnership for their support in staging this event.
This free to attend event will give businesses a fantastic range of help and advice through a series of seminars and workshops, an exhibition area, great networking opportunities and other business related events. It will give an opportunity to visit stand-holders throughout the two days to gain help and advice from a range of exhibitors representing the private and public sectors.
The Showcase brings together a range of organisations offering sound advice on business promotion and marketing, employment law, tax advice, finance, training, exporting and many other relevant subjects. There will be around 30 exhibitors and more than 20 seminars and workshops over the two days. Running alongside will be some major presentations and plenty of opportunities to network with fellow businesses and the experts.
A business ‘surgery’ with advisers on hand to offer help and to discuss business issues will operate throughout the two days. Also available throughout the Showcase will be experts to give guidance on supplying the public sector and in particular the 2012 Olympics.
Visits will also be arranged to see the commercial sites and premises in and around Chelmsford with an emphasis on opportunities arising over the next few years.
