Once again the Chelmsford V Festival will be held at Hylands Park. Tickets have sold out already though. You may be able to get tickets from 3rd party agencies though.

Essex has quite a vibrant folk scene. There are many small folk clubs tucked away in Essex, most are run in pubs on a weekly or monthly basis. Essex is also host to one of the country’s best free folk festivals, the annual Old Leigh Folk Festival that takes place each summer.

There are two main Christmas Carol services in Maldon this Christmas. The Annual Civic Carol Service is held at St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday 14th December 2011 at 7.30pm.
