A Mighty Picnic in Harlow
On the 12th August 2010 The Harlow Children’s Centre Network will be having its 3rd annual Mighty Picnic. Come and join us on Burnt Mill School Playing Field from 2 – 5pm for lots of fun and games.
The Mighty Picnic celebrates the 6 children’s centres in Harlow and gives families with children under 5 the chance to enjoy a great day out for free! There will be games galore, face painting and entertainment from Sally Squiggle, as well as a chance for parents to see what the children’s centres have to offer and meet the staff. Everyone is welcome, including older brothers and sisters.
Holly Jepps, mum of two, who attended last year’s picnic, said ‘Even the rain didn’t dampen our smiles that day!’
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the sun will shine this year. But even if it doesn’t we are sure it will be a fantastic day and like everything we do at the children’s centres the Mighty Picnic is free. But with so much going on you’ll need to take some time to refuel, so don’t forget to bring your picnic along and pack plenty of sun cream!
