Hi I have just looked on car boot sales in essex and for Hyth Colchester your charges are May 5th – May 26th Free, June 2nd – June 23rd £4 and June 30th onwards £8 but on this page for Hyth Colchester your charges are £10 – £12. Please could you confirm which are the correct prices.

Hi Mel, not been able to find anything. Looks like there is an indoor one over in Potters Bar: Elm Court Outdoor and Indoor Boot Sales, Sellers are admitted from 12 noon. Public are admitted from 1.30pm. “There are 44 stalls, and we usually get between 300 and 400 public. Hi Osas, do you mean Sunday 18th? The Ardleigh Car Boot Sale may be on next Sunday – it was on today (11th Nov 2012).
The Barrows Road Carpark in Harlow says it is on all year round. Witham Town Car Boot has indoor stalls so we assume that this is open all year as weather is not an issue. The Lazybones do tend to end in October though.
Whichever you chose, try to call them the week before to check.

Hi Terry, we are not sure which is the biggest. It is possibly the Epping Car Boot Sale which is held between May and August, so no good for this time of year. The one at Thurrock claims to be the “largest all weather hard standing boot sale” – so that is more suitable for November / Winter.

Not aware of any Craig. The closest last year was White House Farm at Rettendon, but pretty sure that does not operate in winter. Especially with the weather as it is at the moment.

As far as we know the information here is correct, but you really should just call and ask – boot fairs can be cancelled at short notice and not all have started yet this year.
