The Maldon Mud Race really needs no introduction. Every year the bravest (and probably maddest) people of Essex race across the freezing cold mud flats in Maldon. A lot of money is raised for various charities each year. A lot of people have a lot of fun. This year money is being raised for:
- Essex Air Ambulance
- Army Benevolent Fund
- Little Haven Children’s Hospice
- 21st Century Youth.
