To let you know, The 3foot People Festival is on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 June and Friday 1 July 2011 – but all tickets have now sold out. For those wanting the same fun as the under 5′s enjoy – then perhaps The Fling (festival of assorted amusements – for adults only) could be the thing on Saturday 2 July? There’s cabaret, comedy, music, storytelling, poetry, sideshows, food, bars, fire installations and too much else to list here. Tickets are selling fast (and they will sell out later) but they’re still available at the mo… Find someone to look after the little one/s and come down to Central Park, Chelmsford from 4pm to see what the fuss is about…
For your info, festival tickets were first available to buy in person as of Saturday 4 June. Tickets were also available to purchase online for those at work or at home with internet access and then they were available by telephone.
That reminds me Natalie, we need to find dates for the 2011 event. Will look into it.
Only having the tickets available to buy in person on a weekday is exceedingly inconvenient for working parents.
3foot festival was a really good day out for children and parents. Just a couple of criticisms though. I was very surprised that a performer in the science tent put a whole egg in her mouth in front of small children during an experiment involving an egg being sucked into a glass bottle…..Small children are likely to copy.
The other disappointment was the bear hunt had no bear. The storyteller was really good but it really did need a bear.
