Today Primark opened its newest store in the High Chelmer shopping precinct in Chelmsford. It is the largest store within High Chelmer was previously JJB Sports, and C&A before that. Customers were queuing outside this morning awaiting for the official opening. The ribbon was cut at 9am.
Primark sells a range of stylish budget clothing, similar to the lines sold by C&A. Primark is well-respected in fashion circles for its excellent designs.
The store is 40,900 square feet and split over 2 levels. The new shop has created many jobs and will attract shoppers from further afield into the city.
Primark is open 7 days a week.
