Paralympic gold medallist and TV presenter Danny Crates will be signing his book, Danny Boy, in Chelmsford’s High Chelmer shopping centre on November 23rd at 10am. He will also have his Beijing Olympics Torch with him!
Danny will also be promoting the International Day for people with Disabilities which is being hosted at the Anglia Ruskin University. This is a ticket only event and you will be able to purchase an event programme at the book signing. Danny will be speaking at the event too.
Danny was a 400 m and 800 m sprinter and he competed in the Athens 2004 Games and the Sydney 2000 Games. Danny was born in Crates was born in Orsett, a village to the north of Grays and Tilbury.
