More good news for 5 Elements Martial Arts in Basildon, as Helen Robinson-Carey won a unanimous decision to take the ladies 56kg Title and become the WAKO Amateur British Kickboxing champion Sunday 21st February 2010.
Helens husband and son travelled to Nottingham and were both watching the fight as she took the title. Helen who with her husband Dave runs the Chip Inn at Maylandsea was one of a team of 8 fighters taken to the British full contact kickboxing Championships at the weekend with the team winning 2 British Titles and 5 Bronze medals.
Kickboxing is one of the martial arts taught at 5 Elements with classes aimed at the recreational student looking for simple fitness training and character development and holds separate classes for those students looking to compete at National and International level. The school has full time premises in Cranes Farm Road teaching the local community.
