MotorTrades in Brentwood Boost Local Jobs Market

Great news for the job scene in Brentwood this week as local business, MotorTrades, is looking to hire an additional 50 staff to ensure that it manages its rapid growth.

MotorTrades will start recruiting immediately at both its Regent House headquarters and its call centre in Hubert Road, Brentwood. They hope to fill the vacancies by the autumn.

Rapid Growth

MotorTrades was founded in 2008 and provides the motor industry with contact information. It already covers 80% of the UK market in this sector and is hoping to cover all of the UK by the end of 2012. They strive to have only the best local businesses listed.

Brentwood MP, Eric Pickles, visited the company to learn more about its rapid growth and the direction the business is heading in.

Managing director Steve Jakes explained that MotorTrades was set up to help independent motoring businesses connect and compete for new customers.

MotorTrades are also in the process of opening a new office in Colchester and is also updating its website, www.motortrades.co.uk, with a new design and features.

“I think it’s fantastic that Brentwood has a company like MotorTrades which is genuinely at the cutting edge of its sector” – Eric Pickles.

Eric Pickles said that he felt a great vibe from the office and it was great to see how passion and determination can lead to business successful growth, even in these tough economic times.
