Stansted Airport in Decline
Posted on Sunday, December 20th, 2009This year has not been good for Stansted Airport. Over the past year there has been a 2.7% fall in passengers travelling to and from Stansted. Stansted has suffered more during the Economic crisis that the other London airports.
The reason for the decline is down falling demand for budget air travel. This is in stark contrast to the situation a few years ago when people were campaigning against the Stansted expansion plans.
