What Are Essex Portal Premium Listings?

Premium listings have many more features than standard free listings. We shall create a full page for you, using your company logos / corporate images with more detailed company information. Standard listings show company name, address and a short description.

On our Premium Listings pages you can add more than one website link, you can also chose the anchor text, which will provide you with a SEO benefit. Also as there will be more relevant content on the page, these links will provide great search visibility for your website. Although we do not have restrictions on the number of links, we suggest that premium page links are restricted to just your homepage, contact page, about page plus a shop/order form, or a couple of product pages. Premium listings also have their own side wide menu of the Latest Premium Listings, which provides further publicity for you business on this portal.

For 2009 we have reduced our fees by 50% to just £50 per year, with all Charities now receiving free premium listings. Once you have submitted your details, we shall contact you on the email address supplied for further information (i.e. page content). Once your listing is complete we shall invoice you using Google Checkout / PayPal. We can also accept payment by cheque.

You are able to edit the basic details (name, address, telephone, short description) at any time by logging in to your account and choosing to modify your listing. Each modification is manually checked before being approved or rejected.

Premium listings are active for 1 year, and if not renewed the listing is automatically converted to a standard listing, meaning that the premium page is no longer active. We send out two reminders before your listing is due to expire.

The easiest way for you to produce your premium page is to email us a Word (or similar) document with images attached. This can be sent over after the order form is received and the payment processed.

The process:

  1. You register an account
  2. You complete the Premium Listing Order Form
  3. We review your basic listing and submit it to the directory.
  4. We then request the payment and information for the premium page.
  5. On receipt of the payment and information, the premium page is activated for 1 year.
