Welcome to Essex Portal. Essex Portal is a small business web directory, with information on Essex businesses, holiday lettings and self catering cottages. We encourage you to review and vote on companies in the directory, as this will provide invaluable information to the Essex community.

Essex Portal provide free yellow pages style directory listings for local businesses and societies, as well as general information on the towns and countryside of Essex.

All directory submissions are manually checked before approval to ensure that only local businesses are listed. You do not need to sign up for an account to list a business, however, doing so will allow you to make changes to your listing at a later date.

Essex Portal plans in the future to also host company web pages, in collaboration with Morrowtech, so if you do not have your own domain for your company website, then Essex Portal will be able to provide a simple solution.

Once we are fully up and running our forums will be open to the public, so the Essex Community can chat and discuss local topics online.

We may also provide useful contact details, such as libraries, local government, and also later schools. It really depends on what you, and the rest of the community, want from this site.
