Pure Fridays
On Fridays is the Pure Fridays. The PureHouse nights will run every Friday and will be the biggest weekly house music event in Essex. Top DJ’s from around the country will be providing the tunes, with DJs Danny Howard from Radio 1, Hoxton Whores from the Whorehouse at McQueen in Shoreditch, Sonny Wharton from Skint/Whartone and Piqué from Pacha.
Eutopia Saturdays
On Saturday 7th July is UTOPIA, the opening party. Etopia is the weekly Saturday night event (open from 10pm – 4am) which will play pop, commercial, R&B, hip hop, dubstep as well as classic club tunes and anthems.
Don’t worry if you need to put your feet up for a while at Evoke. Simple take the lift up to the Japanese ‘Koudo Lounge’ for a bit of relaxation. You can order Methuselah of Grey Goose or a Magnum of Vintage Champagne and unwind with some luxury table service before heading back to the Ibiza-style dance floor.
Thursday Night is Band Night
Evoke will be host to local bands on Thursday nights, providing Chelmsford City with a much needed new live music venue.

Evoke’s Nick Harmston gave some details of what will be on offer:
“We are offering a good choice of music and are trying to cater for everyone. We will also be having entertainment such as fire eaters and jugglers and Thursdays will offer local bands a good opportunity to perform.”

News From the Evoke Opening Night – Saturday 7th July 2012
Chelmsford’s newest nightclub is officially opening on Saturday 7th July. Evoke is a “super club” and will provide a range of music all week. The £2.5 million development has an ice bar, lounge and state of the art £100,000 sound system and lights. It will host the country’s top DJ’s and also showcase live acts.
The club refurbishment has taken only 3 months to complete, but work was done around the clock from 8am to 9pm, 7 days a week.
