The Olympic torch relay starts on 19th May 2012 at Land’s End and reaches Essex on day 49 of its journey and will arrive in the Olympic Stadium on the 70th day, on the 27th July.

Today we learned that Game Group Plc. has entered administration. Game has several stores across Essex, including one in Chelmsford City. The Chelmsford branch is in the centre of the High Chelmer shopping precinct. It holds a prime position opposite Starbucks.
As well as the Chelmsford store Game also have / had stores at the Lion Walk Shopping Centre in Colchester, Town Square in Basildon, Brentwood High Street, Braintree, Clacton-on-Sea and Harlow. Many jobs are obviously threatened by this news.
