Motor sport fans had the time of their lives at the recent launch, by F1 Driver Limited, of Essex’s only Formula 1 simulator.
The launch event, held at the Essex County Cricket Ground, was opened by the Mayor of Chelmsford, Councillor Alan Arnot. He tried out the simulator himself and was most impressed. The simulator can be hired for corporate or private functions.
The F1 simulator will add an exciting feature to any major event – whether that be a prestigious business occasion or a lavish wedding reception.
As Paul Bridgeman, Director of F1 Driver Limited, points out, “the sport of Formula One is synonymous with success, glamour and prestige; the simulator will allow people to enjoy the world of F1 at a fraction of the cost of entering the real thing.”
Plenty of visitors at the Essex Food Show, in Cressing last weekend, were finding out what it’s like to be a Formula 1 driver. There will be further opportunities for members of the public to have a go at ‘driving’ the car at events later in the year, including Clacton’s 20th Air Show in August.
The F1 simulator also provides businesses with the opportunity to increase their brand awareness with high profile advertising on the simulator itself.
