Modern Serviced Cottage
Panfield House is a cosy choice of stay comprising 400 square feet of space. The cottage is self-catered but offers daily maid cleaning to ensure that your facilities remain fresh. The cleaning will take place whilst you’re out of the property to ensure that you won’t be interrupted.
Open-Plan Living
The ground floor of the cottage includes a kitchen diner with appliances such as a fridge freezer, a washer dryer, hob, oven and microwave. Leading into the living room, there is a comfortable sofa and coffee table with a flat screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player and iPhone charger with speakers. From the living room, a staircase with glass balustrade goes up to the gallery bedroom which is a comfy space with King-size bed or two twins if you prefer.
Guests will be pleased to hear that the only area of the cottage which is not open-plan is the bathroom, which contains a full size bath with shower.
Classic Versus Contemporary
The blend of styles in Panfield House works extremely well. The interior of the cottage is far from dated, with a contemporary yet classy feel and all modern appliances. A stable door to the property reflects the cottagey feel that the accommodation has, whilst elegant spotlights in the kitchen and footlights in the bedroom provide a rather chic effect. Rather luxuriously, the cottage is also fitted with underfloor heating that keeps a constant temperature, which is a welcome bonus in the winter months.
Location
Braintree is located in North-West Essex and offers rail connections into London Liverpool Street which takes around 55 minutes. This route goes via Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre which is the largest shopping centre in the UK. For those looking to fly, access to Stansted Airport takes around 13 minutes on the A120 road.
The Owners
The owners of the property, Ursula and Barry, are extremely accommodating towards their guests. As well as stocking the kitchen with staples such as bread, milk, cereals, jam, tea and coffee, they also offer technology essentials in the form of free Wi-Fi, document printing, faxing and even photocopying.
Guests love coming to stay at this home from home. One lady even stayed recently for two months when her own home was unfortunately flooded.
