The Maldon Mud Race really needs no introduction. Every year the bravest (and probably maddest) people of Essex race across a 400m stretch of the River Blackwater mud flats in Maldon. A lot of money is raised for various charities each year. A lot of people have a lot of fun. This year money is being raised for:
- Farleigh Hospice
- Little Haven Childrens Hospice
- Brainwave
This year’s Mud Race is to be held on Sunday 5th May.
There is also a fancy dress race and a ducklings race. There will be big screens to watch the event on and stalls with snacks and crafts.
