The Haverstock family

Previous years featured the Haverstock family, a fictional family who lived in a sleepy village where they employed the town folk to work on their land. The Haverstock family booked an annual celebration and invited Cirque Du Park to the village to show their appreciation to the town folk, but the circus wasn’t all it seemed.

Visitors will re-visit mysterious and peculiar happenings as they learn of Lucy Tuckwell, a fictional character who has started to experience strange and mysterious occurrences at the country park.

Visitors can watch the terrifying story of Lucy Tuckwell unfold at www.thecursed.co.uk and interact with her via Facebook and Twitter as she reveals that the Cursed . . . have returned!

County Councillor Tracey Chapman, Cabinet Member for Environment and Waste said:

“It’s not often that a local event is as professional and thrilling as Cursed. The event provides visitors with a great night of entertainment that is harmless but certainly gets you jumping and the adrenalin pumping.

“In 2009, we learnt the chilling tale of the Haverstock family which really worked well with the surroundings of the country park. We anticipate for this year’s event to be bigger and better. And, with the follow-on story of Lucy Tuckwell; the mysterious occurrences really add to the chilling atmosphere.

“I recommend this event to all who want to experience a fantastic night of entertainment at a great price.”
