In 2014, a small but ambitious mobility retailer opened its first showroom in Essex when CareCo Mobility took its first steps to becoming a national retailer after starting up as a mail order company. CareCo opened its first showroom in Brentwood, just of the London Road, and this was quickly followed be new stores in Birmingham and West London. 7 years later, CareCo has 21 national mobility shops under its wing, reaching north to Glasgow, Newcastle, and Preston, west to Cardiff, Cheltenham, as well as dominating the South of England and the midlands.
So it is with great excitement that they opened their 20th mobility store, called CareCo Romford, providing an upgrading, modern shopping experience. CareCo has been innovating in the mobility sector since it was founded in 2009, and the new showroom features state-of-the-art interactive displays, which are perfect for those without a computer or smartphone to discover all the products in CareCo’s extensive catalogue.
The showroom displays all the most popular products, with mobility scooters, wheelchairs, bath lifts, walking aids, chairs and other aids, but the central warehouse stocks thousands of other lines that are featured in the regular product brochure and on their website.
CareCo Romford is super easy to get to, situated on junction of the A12 and A127 at Gallows Corner.

We visited the Romford branch looking for a lounge chair that would give my wife some comfort for her bad back. We had no prior knowledge of these items and were a little concerned that we may face a pushy salesperson. In fact we found the opposite, Anne the branch manager spent lots of time with us offering excellent guidance and advice which we really appreciated. There was no hard sell and we were very comfortable throughout our visit. A lady called Gillian dealt with our paperwork and the delivery timing was as promised. The delivery was no fuss and the delivery men were very friendly and polite. We are going to buy one of the Care Co beds now, and we are happy to highly recommend this Company.

Went to Careco Romford today to review the folding scooters. Very impressed with the showroom with lots of choice of everything on offer. Spent a good hour reviewing the scooter with lots of test drives. We were looked after very well by Marion who was attentive and knowledgeable and not in any way pushy. Great service.
