Chelmsford will soon have another new Indian restaurant to add to its already excellent selection. The Coriander is opening on Baddow Road in Chelmsford on Wednesday 12th September.
The Coriander is a chain of Indian restaurants in London and the home counties.
The building was formally Slipped Discs II, and is next door to Strada. Before Coriander took over, the restaurant was called Moja Restaurant, which opened in February 2012, and before that it was called Khana.
It is described as an Indian Fusion restaurant, and will serve a wide selection of dishes from all over India and also include popular dishes from surrounds areas, such as the ever popular baltis and dishes from Nepal.
It is in good company, with TM2 (formally the Taj Mahal) and Shah Jan Tandori. For those who wish to enjoy a beer before or after their curry, the Nags Head is just a few doors down too.
