Farmers Markets in Essex

Farmers Market

Farmers Markets are becoming a more popular way for people to purchase locally grown and in season fruits and vegetables, as well as some more exotic items. There are many farmers markets across Essex, some take place in the major towns and many are in village halls scattered across the county. Many farmers markets are recognised and certified by Farma.org.uk, who are the governing body for farmers markets in the UK.

The information is correct at time of going to press. You may want to check with the relevant town council before making your journey (we hope to provide this information soon). The farmers markets are listed alphabetically by town, if you wish to correct any details or add a new regular farmers market event then please contact us here.

Remember that there are many excellent farm shops all over Essex that are open most days of the week.
