Nick Lumb British Champion with Tony WillisNick Lumb from 5 Elements Martial Arts in Basildon, Essex won a unanimous decision to take the men’s 81kg Title and become the WAKO Amateur British Kickboxing champion Sunday 21st February 2010.

Nick who won silver last year in the 86kg category had worked really hard to drop weight so he could fight at the lower weight this year and it really paid off as he dominated his fight. Nick won a unanimous decision to take the Title.

Nick was one of a team of 8 fighters taken to the British full contact kickboxing Championships at the weekend with the team winning 2 British Titles and 5 Bronze medals.

Kickboxing is one of the martial arts taught at 5 Elements with classes aimed at the recreational student looking for simple fitness training and character development and holds separate classes for those students looking to compete at National and International level. The school has full time premises in Cranes Farm Road teaching the local community.
