Helen Robinson-Carey from 5 Elements Martial Arts in BasildonHelen Robinson-Carey from 5 Elements Martial Arts in Basildon, Essex won the British Title Belt sanctioned by the Kickboxing Governing Body WAKO, at the show “ROUND 2” in Basildon on Saturday October 2nd.

Helen fought the more experienced Emma Leam of Grimsby Martial Arts Academy and won a points decision making her one of the countries top amateur female kickboxers.

Helen who with her husband Dave runs the Chip Inn at Maylandsea has had a fantastic year winning the British Tournament in February a strong contest from local girl Tracey Ling in May and taking the Title Belt on this show in a very tough bout which showed fantastic competitive spirit from both fighters.

2 Other fighters from 5 Elements were on the show both winning their bouts. Wesley Scott won his WAKO K1 rules bout by TKO and Wayne Russell added another win to his record in kickboxing.

Kickboxing is one of the martial arts taught at 5 Elements with classes aimed at the recreational student looking for simple fitness training and character development and holds separate classes for those students looking to compete at National and International level. The school has full time premises in Cranes Farm Road teaching the local community.
