5-Elements Martial Arts, one of the fastest growing martial arts schools in Essex, has seen its first competing female kickboxer win her début fight. Chloe Wilson from Beauchamps School in Wickford has been training at 5 Elements in Basildon for 2 years. In stepping into the ring showed great courage and determination. It was soon obvious though that her training had paid off well as she punished her opponent.
Chief instructor of 5 Elements, Tony Willis, was extremely proud of her victory:
“Our students have to train specifically to compete in full contact fights, and Chloe is our first girl to take that route, and we are very proud of her. She dominated her fight in Kent last weekend, with her opponent taking punishment in the corner of the ring on several occasions. Full contact fighting is hard, and demands a very high level of fitness.“
5 Elements Martial arts provides instruction in full contact kickboxing, kickboxercise (no contact exercise for women), traditional kung-fu, Escrima and MMA (mixed martial arts). The club has been approached by other MMA teams interested in competitions.
Many of the men at 5 Elements have won championship titles. The club is going from strength to strength.
Tony Willis allows new students to try the club for free, so take advantage of a complimentary lesson with one of Essex’s best martial arts schools.
